Who could say no to this?

Received this email from cute little cousin Luke. I love him.

We’re getting married at Heinz Chapel in Pittsburgh on July 7, 2012.

This blog and all wedding related thoughts were on hold for a bit as I finished up grad school and started a new job! Don’t worry, loyal readers! New posts coming soon.
I tried to construct one of these little guys last night with very poor results.

But look how pretty they can be if you do it right!

You never should have told me you know how to make these, Tia Pease.

The blog Offbeat Bride routinely showcases some of the ugliest wedding stuff I have ever seen (I don’t know why I read it), but this find from endless is lovely! Only $43, too! See other cute clutches in their post “Wedding clutches to make you clutch your pearls and gasp.”

Earrings from Amelia Rose Design. Can I have them all?

If you’ve been following along, you know that Jared and I would love to have an outdoor, low-key reception with fun food, lawn games, and a relaxed time for all.
We’d like to get married at beautiful Heinz Chapel, which doesn’t quite fit the low-key vibe, but is on our beloved Pitt campus, where we met (sort of) and spent much of our early relationship.
So, readers, do any of you have a suggestion for a Pittsburgh reception site?
Please don’t be shy! We’ll take whatever suggestions we can get. The only rule so far is that the venue should have an indoor option in case of rain (it is Pittsburgh, after all).
The sooner we find a venue, the sooner I can put you all to work at various arts & crafts tasks and our families can stop fretting that we’ll elope. Thanks!
